Our Personal Story
Dalal Hino
Nestled in the heart of the Western Galilee village of Julis, Noor Sweets is a family-run cafe dedicated entirely to desserts, blending the rich traditions of Druze cuisine with modern dessert artistry.
The concept grew from a clear local need: a cafe focused on a high-quality, diverse dessert experience—a niche that was virtually nonexistent in the area. The establishment produces a wide variety of Druze-style sweets daily, including red and white knafe, faysalia, bavaroise, fatayer, and authentic ma’amoul with assorted fillings. Alongside these, the bakery serves kosher baklava in flavors such as pistachio, almond, coconut, and hazelnut, along with a rich selection of Western-style desserts—birthday cakes, loaf cakes, individual desserts, whipped-cream-filled pastry cigars, chocolate truffles, cookies, and more.
At the “hot station,” fresh desserts are prepared before guests’ eyes, alongside indulgent treats like decadent crepes and Belgian waffles, as well as “Dubai” and “Kinder” style crepes. The experience is rounded out by high-quality coffee, hot and cold beverages, milkshakes, fresh-squeezed juices, and non-alcoholic mojitos in various flavors.
The combination of traditional recipes, premium ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and a youthful, innovative spirit creates a unique culinary experience.
Noor Sweets invites visitors to enjoy not only excellent desserts but also an encounter with a family that lives and breathes hospitality and sweets, infusing every dish leaving the kitchen with heart and soul.
