Classical Indian music, an Indian thali, hot chai, and the surrounding Galilean nature. Clil HaShachar invites you to a Friday afternoon of music and hospitality in an intimate setting—a former stable transformed into a space for workshops, performances, and gatherings, overlooking the Yehiam Stream.

1 pm – Doors and kitchen open; food and drinks with an Indian-Galilean flair

2 pm – Concert begins

3 pm – End

We are delighted to invite you to an afternoon concert of classical Indian music at our new workshop venue at Clil HaShachar. This space—a renovated stable turned into an intimate hall for workshops, music, and gatherings—is nestled in Clil’s unique Galilean landscape, along the banks of the Yehiam Stream.

In the heart of the Galilean wilderness, we will gather for an afternoon filled with India’s sounds, flavors, and aromas.

At 1 pm, we will open our doors and our home-style kitchen, offering a rich Indian thali, hot chai, homemade sweets, beer, and wine. It is the perfect opportunity to arrive at a leisurely pace, enjoy the food and atmosphere, and settle in before the concert begins. Food and drinks are available for purchase separately, based on your selection. The concert begins at 2 pm and features Yahav Maman on the sitar and Roi Henkin on the tabla, who will perform a raga—a classical Indian musical form. Yahav and Roi began their shared musical journey in Varanasi, India, in 2014. Since then, they have delved deeply into the roots of classical Indian music, mastering the secrets of raga and rhythm, and performing in Israel and abroad.

Yahav is a student of the internationally acclaimed sitar maestro Shahid Parvez Khan, continuing a musical tradition passed down through generations.

Roi returns to Varanasi every year to deepen his study of the tabla within the Benares Gharana tradition, under the guidance of his teacher, Shri Soumya Kanti Mukherjee.

We invite you to experience the resonance of ancient Indian music—where melody and rhythm meet and the beauty that emerges from their union.

Take a moment to step away from your daily routine, let the music carry you, and embark on a sonic journey to the heart of India, all while surrounded by the natural landscape of the Galilee.

The event takes place in Clil HaShachar, in a space transformed from a former stable into an intimate venue for workshops and tranquil performances, nestled in the Galilean wilderness overlooking the Yehiam Stream. This event combines a live classical Indian music concert with warm, home-style hospitality, featuring delicacies from an Indian-Galilee fusion kitchen—all set in a cozy winter atmosphere.

The blend of music, flavors, and setting creates an intimate, multi-sensory experience that invites you to slow down, listen, and enjoy a moment of peace and beauty.

Price: 60 NIS per person for concert admission; food and drinks are available for separate purchase.

Notes: Suitable for adults; children are welcome if they can sit quietly and listen during the concert. The food is vegetarian and homemade (no kosher certification). A wood-burning stove heats the venue. Partial shelter is available (one mamad—reinforced security room—on-site). The venue is not wheelchair accessible. Free, organized parking is available.
