A Great Beam of Light Between the Alleys of Old Akko: A Meeting of Taste, Creativity, & HopeFri | Dec 19
Dates and Times
Tina Khativ and Moshe Afuta, two neighboring business owners in Old Akko, invite you to an unforgettable meeting, seasoned with art, color, and flavors, where you will discover what courageous friendship is and how it illuminates the world.
Tina Khativ, owner of The Malabi House and Moshe Afuta, owner of the Akko Art Gallery invite you to a special evening of light, taste, and inspiration. Between the flavors and aromas of Tina’s indulgent malabi and the magical colors of Moshe’s gallery, we meet for an evening full of stories, creativity, and a lot of Hanukkah magic.
We will hear their personal story ― two neighboring entrepreneurs in Akko, who went through challenging times together ― from the pandemic to the war, and chose light, cooperation, and love for the community again and again.
On the evening of the fifth candle of Hanukkah, we will meet to light the candles together, share moments of hope, good taste, and Israeli art. We will also enjoy gourmet dessert flavors in a holiday atmosphere, and leave with a small gift and a big heart – full of light and optimism.
The Malabi House – At Tina Khativ’s stand in the heart of the Old City of Akko, every dish is a story – of tradition, love, and renewal.
