Walied Khoury, a sculptor and blacksmith who lives and creates in the beautiful Christian village of Fassuta invites you to get a glimpse into his world. The meeting includes a live demonstration in the workshop, a personal story, a tour of the gallery, wine, and Christmas desserts.
You are invited to the Christian village of Fassuta to enjoy the holiday atmosphere and visit the impressive workshop of the artist and blacksmith Walied Khoury. We will gather in the workshop by the fire oven to hear Walid’s personal story, watch a demonstration of how he transforms an iron strip into a sculpture using the traditional method by heating coal and wander around his impressive gallery where a variety of sculptures and furniture are displayed, some of which are for sale.
At the end, we will go out onto a balcony overlooking a spectacular Galilean view, breathe in fresh Galilean air and indulge in a Christmas cake, a glass of mulled wine, coffee and herbal tea.
