You are invited to an extraordinary experiential trip to one of the only two Christian villages in Israel: Mi’ilya, the Europe of the Galilee, with the tour guide Ofek Ron Carmel!
For Christmas, Mi’ilya gets all decorated with twinkling lights, tall fir trees, and red Santa hats.
We will start the trip with a special Christmas tea and sweet handmade holiday cookies.
From there we will continue to tour the sparkling village alleys. We will get to know the special holiday customs of the village, we will see works of art on the walls of the houses and we will discover surprising archaeological findings that are hidden underground. We will visit the impressive church and the fir tree next to it and the ancient king’s fortress, from which there is a spectacular view of the area. Finally, you will receive recommendations on restaurants in the area for a fine Galilean dinner.
