You are invited to the warm and hearty hospitality of Aviva Khoury in the Christian village of Fassuta during the most beautiful time of the year. Aviva Khoury, a local chef, invites you to a rich meal prepared by her own hands in her decorated and festive home in honor of Christmas.
What Awaits You at the Meal:
A selection of fresh and colorful salads ― inspired by the cuisines of the Galilee, using local olive oil, traditional spices, and authentic and indulgent main courses ― including traditional dishes.
- Salads ― tabbouleh, quinoa, cabbage, fattoush, hummus, Turkish salad, seasonal pickles
- Side Dishes ― Fatayer, small meat/cheese Sambuskim
- Main Courses ― grape leaves, stuffed zucchini, Mujaddara/shulbato, rice with chicken and pine nuts/maqluba, kebab with tahini and potatoes
- Desserts ― coffee/tea, homemade cakes, water and lemonade
Christmas music will be playing in the background.
Parents of children are invited to bring gifts for them, which we will place near the Christmas tree.
After the event, you are invited to wander through the Christian village of Fassuta, decorated for Christmas.
