A winter day of creativity at the Lil Studio in Kibbutz Ga’aton with artists Liat Gilad and Mital Brooks, where we will create a pair of candlesticks, candles decorated with dried flowers, and sit together for a light lunch.
In the short and dark days of the year, we will meet for a morning of creativity, in a magical studio in Kibbutz Ga’aton.
The meeting will consist of two creative workshops that complement each other.
We will start the day with a workshop for making handmade clay candlesticks led by Liat Gilad, a ceramist and goldsmith, in which each participant will choose her favorite style and make a pair of identical candlesticks or one large vessel for a candle.
After about two hours of work, we will take a break, eat a light lunch together and continue for about another hour of candle decoration with dried flowers, led by Meital Brooks from Mylina Design, a creator and collector, in which we will learn together a gentle and meditative technique of decorating candles with natural materials and upgrading each simple candle into a unique and one-of-a-kind handmade creation.
At the end of the workshops, you will go home with 2-3 decorated candles, and you will leave the candlesticks to dry and burn in a ceramic oven at 1200 degrees. After about two weeks, you will be able to collect the candlesticks or receive home delivery for an additional fee.
The workshops are subject to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants and will take place in an intimate and special space.

Price: 380 NIS per person, 700 NIS per couple, including all materials, a pair of candlesticks/two candle holders, 2-3 decorated candles and a light lunch including soup, bread, and salads (dairy vegetarian cuisine)
