Tour of Wine & Landscapes in the Western Galilee – Tour Guide Amnon Gofer
Dates and Times
Welcome to a trip of small touches in the world of wine and breweries when we will have views of the Galilee with scenery with tour guide Amnon Gofer.
We will open our trip in Horvat Kev Archeological Garden, on a grape treading floor of a 1600 year old winepress, talk about wine and wine culture in ancient times and methods of cultivation and production, visit the remains of the Byzantine church whose wine takes place in its sacraments and taste sparkling wine to warm the atmosphere.
From there we will continue to Lotem Winery for a meeting with the winemaker, tasting four unique types of wine and maybe we will understand why wine likes to ripen accompanied by music.
From Lotem we will drive to the Harashim Winery to taste organic boutique wines alongside a grape vineyard and a young spirit of new generation winemakers.
At Mitzpe Harashim enjoy a unique view of the landscapes of the Lower Galilee and the demographic and geopolitical processes in the area.
We will end up in a small brewery, we will meet Moshe whose shaky life story and unique beer will give our trip a special touch, with a selection of tastings of the best beers in Israel.
