As we approach the solstice—when the days begin to lengthen and light triumphs over darkness—artists Igal Rozenblatt and Paula Rykin invite you on a creative adventure that bridges light, imagination, and reuse.

When was the last time you let your imagination run wild, playing with materials and ideas without inhibitions or boundaries—without striving for perfection or precision, and without worrying about what others might think?

In this inspiration-filled, free-form session, each participant will receive a pre-made light-fixture base, complete with a lamp socket, power cord, and switch.

Using this base, you will craft a unique lampshade from a variety of repurposed materials—items seeking a second chance and a new life.

Through imagination, play, and hands-on experimentation, you will transform these materials into a surprising, original light fixture—and reignite the joy of creation!

Throughout the session, we will awaken our creativity, practice “thinking outside the box,” explore materials freely, and discover the values of reuse and sustainability in a practical, enjoyable way.

Price: 250 NIS per person, including a personal light fixture and light refreshments.

Notes: Suitable for adults and teenagers who enjoy creating, experimenting, and working with their hands—no prior experience required. A protected space (shelter) is available; however, the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
