Tour & Recycling Workshop at the Rom Farm for the Whole FamilySat | Dec 20
Dates and Times
A fun day at the Rom Farm, including a tour of the vegetable gardens and the happy goat pen, and a workshop for artistic creation from old plastic bags.
We will start with a guided tour of the Rom Farm where we will meet the herd of happy goats, visit the vegetable gardens, and learn about the unique growing methods on the farm. We will hear about the restoration plants operating on the farm.
In the workshop we will learn about different recycling methods and the difference between reuse, reduce, and recycle.
We will think together how we can reduce the damage to the Earth and give our “garbage” a new life.
We will learn how to create new products from old plastic bags.
Each participant left with a handmade product (placement, tray, pictures, and more as the imagination allows).
