Some stories cannot truly be told without being in the very place where they unfolded. We invite you to a winter Friday at Ofir Farm for an experience that bridges the vineyard, winery, cinema, wine, and food—connecting this place to the family story that has unfolded here for three generations.

Starting in the Vineyard & Winery

We will begin with a tour of the vineyard and winery, taking an up-close look at grape cultivation and winemaking on the farm.

You will hear about the farm’s founding, the family, the agriculture, and how two generations work side-by-side today—with the third generation already growing up here, becoming part of the story.

We will then explore the world of bees and the apiary, and discover the cabin’s unique history—brought all the way from the Appalachian Mountains to serve as the farm’s visitor and hospitality center.

Continuing Into the World of Bees with a Screening of the Film “My Bee Family”

This documentary grew out of the Ofir Farm family story. Created by Adva, the eldest daughter, the film explores themes of family, land, bees, and agriculture, capturing the ongoing effort to preserve and carry forward what generations have built here. After getting to know the location, we will see it through the eyes of someone who grew up there.

Film Duration: 60 minutes

From the Screen to the Table

After the film, we will settle onto the cabin’s covered, heated veranda for the best part of the day ― a guided wine tasting featuring a selection of the winery’s wines, accompanied by an indulgent winter brunch that includes:

  • Hot soup
  • A selection of boutique cheeses
  • Sourdough breads
  • Mediterranean mezze
  • Coffee
  • Dessert

To conclude, we will sample the apiary’s nine varieties of honey and visit the art exhibition in the gallery loft.

All this set against the backdrop of a winter Friday on the farm—complete with music, cozy throws, a heated veranda, and a glass of wine in hand.

If it rains, we will be prepared!

The tour will proceed even in the rain—umbrellas provided—as the winter weather only makes the experience more beautiful and unique.

Price: 252 NIS per person, including the tour, film screening, wine tasting, and brunch.
