17.12Thursday
A special evening at the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga'aton, blending dance, art, movement, and light. As part of the Western Galilee Now Winter Festival, a troupe from the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and "The Collective"—a group of artists from Kibbutz Ga'aton—invite you to an evening that bridges performance, hands-on experience, movement, and an encounter with local art.
7:30 pm – Starting at the Gallery
Gather at the company’s gallery at the entrance to Zachary Hall. We’ll begin with a warm beverage and sufganiyot.
8 pm – Return to Atlantis
A performance by Lotem Regev, featuring the dancers of troupe 2.
9 pm – Movement, Light, & Connection
Immediately after the performance, the audience is invited to join an experience led by the Ga’aton Artists’ Collective—a journey that integrates natural movement, presence, and light in both personal and shared spaces.
Throughout the experience, “living” light installations—created by members of the Collective—will move through the space. You may participate actively, or simply observe, feel, and immerse yourself at your own personal pace.
9:45 pm – Behind the Scenes at the Dance Village
We will conclude with a tour of the Dance Village, where you will learn the village’s story and the story of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company—one of Israel’s and the world’s leading dance troupes—and watch a film about the company’s founder.
10:30 pm – Estimated End Time
An evening of inspiration, movement, and art.
About the Performance:
Ancient vibrations carry within them the memory of a future.

Back to Atlantis invites the viewer on a journey of remembering an ancient human essence. Amidst the storms outside, a longing emerges—a yearning for connection and belonging, for simplicity and wholeness. An inner voice, once lost, seeks to be heard again.
