Family Workshop for Making Candles in Recycled Cans – When Honey & Recycling Meet

Welcome to the Asal Alnor Visitors Center in the picturesque village of Peki’in for a special activity for the whole family that combines honey and sustainability. Welcome to a meeting with Ghassan the beekeeper, to hear about the life of bees, organic honey production and the medicinal properties of honey and its products, and with Paula Rykin, a recycling artist who owns a TIN-TIME studio, to talk about sustainability and the magic of using existing and available.
After the meeting, Paula and Ghassan will guide you through an experiential workshop for making natural beeswax candles in recycled cans.
During the workshop, light refreshments will be served and of course you can purchase from Asal Alnor’s variety of honey products and from the recycled items that Paula produces from tin cans.
