Haviva Seligson invites you to a creative session at her new Yodfat studio to explore manual printmaking. Over two hours, we will explore the linocut technique, design and carve linoleum blocks, and see how a handmade image becomes a print on paper.
We will learn the process, print by hand, and create a small collection of personal prints.
Through this hands-on work, we will explore the technique’s possibilities, the interplay between form and surface, and the unique qualities of manual printmaking.
At the end of the session, each participant will take home the carved block and the prints they created — a personal memento of their exploration into the world of printmaking.
The workshop is suitable for adults and children ages 10 and up. No prior experience is required.
Price: 180 NIS per person, including instruction, all materials, a printing block, prints you create, and light refreshments.
Notes: Air conditioning, restrooms, a protected space (shelter), and accessibility are all available.
