Boro Style Workshop ― Winter, Light & Creation at the Hasi Fiber StudioThu | Dec 18
Dates and Times
Boro Style workshop for making a Japanese-style bag for Hanukkah. A wintery meeting ― intimate, and full of light.
There is something magical about winter mornings ― the wind outside, the smell of rain, and the warmth that spreads when you sit by the stove with a thread, needle, and cup of hot tea.
This is exactly what our Buro workshop looks like ― a moment of calm, connection and human warmth in the middle of the cold season.
Boro, a Japanese art of repair and fusion, patches and healing, teaches us to see beauty in what we wear, to give new life to an old fabric, and to unite in silence and love ― stitch by stitch, light by light.
On Hanukkah, when small candles light up the house, we too will turn on our own light ― in a piece that connects to fabrics, memories, and the people around us.
No previous experience is necessary ― just a desire to stop for a moment, breathe, and sew.
The materials, instruction, and inspiration are waiting for you at the Hasi FIber studio in Bostan HaGalil.
