Drops of Light – Glass Mobile Workshop
Kfar Vradim
18.12Friday
How do you transform pieces of glass into a personal creation that plays with light? At glass artist Galit Schuster Kamao's studio in Kfar Vradim, children and adults are invited to a creative session inspired by winter, raindrops, and snowflakes.
We will begin with a demonstration by Galit, who will showcase how to work with hot glass using a torch and craft winter-themed glass ornaments. After getting acquainted with the material, we will move on to creating a personal mobile made from handmade glass elements.
Each participant will receive four glass pieces—prepared in advance by Galit and inspired by winter and the Christmas season—along with the necessary accessories to assemble the mobile. At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home their own unique creation, suitably packaged.
Galit Schuster Kamao, a glass artist from Kfar Vradim, combines glassblowing and hot-glass sculpting in her work. Glass—with its transparency, color, and the way light passes through it—has been a central part of her artistic journey for years. In her studio, Galit invites visitors to take a closer look at the materials and creative process—this time through a collaborative exploration of color, form, and imagination.
Please note: Galit performs all torch work as a demonstration.
Price: 280 NIS per person, including the workshop, a glass mobile you create, and light refreshments.
Notes: Suitable for ages 8 and up. An adult must accompany children under 19. The studio is heated and includes a protected space (shelter). The venue is accessible via stairs, and assistance is available if needed. On-site parking is provided.
