Noor is a Galilean Druze restaurant, established by Basma Hino in the center of Julis.
A cozy and air-conditioned restaurant offering an authentic Druze experience, traditional homemade food, local ingredients, and fresh vegetables grown in the village and its surroundings.
On the Menu:
Broth with lentils and bulgur, seasoned salad, warm chicory salad, babaganoush (eggplant salad in tahini), tahini, manzala, grape leaves, stuffed zucchini and eggplant, vegetarian latabak (potato, eggplant, pepper, and onion stew), mahamar (meat stew with onion and pepper), lamb stew, fried kubbeh, lemonade, coffee, tea and cookies for dessert.
At the end of the meal, we will hear the moving story of Basma Hino, an IDF widow, and an inspiring entrepreneur who founded the restaurant on her own with a lot of faith and a lot of joy in life, and it is named after her son – Noor.
