18.12Friday
A festive vocal concert paired with a tour of the Christian village of Mi'ilya to celebrate Christmas. The experience includes a walk through the village’s decorated alleyways, local tastings, and visits to Chateau du Roi and a Greek Catholic church.
As Christmas approaches, the village of Mi’ilya adorns itself with red Santa hats, twinkling lights, and towering fir trees.
We will begin with a festive vocal concert featuring the ensemble Alma – Israeli Female Voices, followed by a tour through the village alleyways, which will sparkle with holiday lights as dusk falls.
Tour guides Amnon Gofer and Ofek Ron-Carmel will lead the tour. It will feature local tastings and insights into the village’s unique holiday customs, including a visit to the local Julia Winery for a holiday toast.

Alma – Israeli Female Voices presents a musical celebration of light in honor of Christmas, where the classical and the contemporary meet in Mi’ilya. The program includes prayers by Schubert, Gounod, and Saint-Saëns, along with beloved Christmas carols like “Silent Night” and cherished Israeli songs.
Female voices, accompanied by guitar and percussion, weave together themes of prayer, longing, faith, and love in a musical journey spanning traditions, eras, and languages—illuminating the heart and reminding us of music’s power to connect, evoke emotion, and inspire hope.
