You will be both the subject and the photographer in this extraordinary experience, set against the enchanting backdrop of Old Akko in winter—complete with a warm glass of sangria.
What to look forward to?
- The Opening: We’ll kick things off at the hotel bar with a glass of wine or a warm, wintry sangria. Step away from the daily grind and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming introduction with your hosts and fellow participants, accompanied by atmospheric photography.
- Secrets of Photography & Styling: Moving into “The Hidden Room”—set to a specially curated playlist—you’ll learn how to pose naturally and confidently in front of the camera. We’ll cover styling for photos and the basics of using a professional camera (all explained in an easy, accessible way).
- You Are Both the Art & the Artist: Step into a unique photographic space, featuring the breathtaking, signature aesthetic of Akotika. Amidst ancient, meticulously preserved stone arches and the hotel’s signature boutique design, the magic of photography unfolds. During the session, you’ll even hold the camera! With gentle, close guidance, you’ll have the chance to experience the art of photographing one another.
For a touch of romance by the sea, we’ll head up to the hotel’s stunning rooftop terrace—overlooking the ancient city walls and the Mediterranean—for a spectacular photo shoot.
- What happens afterward? When you return home, you’ll receive a link to a high-quality digital gallery featuring your professionally edited photos, ready to print or share. You can also order a professional, framed print from the Inbar & Shay Studio; we’ll deliver it to your door at cost—a romantic keepsake from an unforgettable getaway in Akko’s Old City.
Price: 750 NIS per couple, including a glass of wine or sangria, and a digital gallery of the day’s images.
Special offers for event participants: A 25% discount on hotel room bookings (excluding Fridays), and a professional, archival-quality framed print (30×40 cm)—including home delivery—for just 120 NIS.
Notes: The wine, sangria, and breakfast for hotel guests are kosher. No protected space (shelter).
